D. GRADING SYSTEM
  • Preschool students, per DepEd order, will not be given numerical grades. Instead, they will be assessed using checklists- the Progress Report and the Early Childhood Care and Development checklist.
  • The ECD Assessment Checklist serves as the main tool for monitoring developmental milestones among kindergarten learners. This will serve as a basis for planning and implementing interventions to address risks of developmental delays and boost growth and development among kindergarten learners.
  • LPLC adopts the grading system of the K-12 program in preschool levels.
  • Deportment grade is based on the child’s observable character traits in the classroom and in the whole school campus. Its grading system is different from the one used in other subjects. A student who gets a grade of D in deportment is considered a failure.
E. CHRISTIAN LIVING EDUCATION ATTENDANCE
  • LPLC, being a Catholic educational institution, requires ALL students enrolled therein to attend Christian Living Education classes and participate in all classroom activities, and submit all the requirements needed in the subject. This subject is the platform on which LPLC's core values and campus culture are developed.
  • For our Muslim students, CLE subject must be taken for academic purposes only. This subject also serves as the students’ character development and values education program.
